Policies

To Book An Appointment

I require a credit card at the time of booking.  If you are unable to provide a card number your appointment may not be reserved for you. Card numbers are retrieved and confirmed by phone call upon the time of booking and they are stored in a secure online system for future bookings.  

Deposits

I require a booking deposit from first time guests for all services which are regularly priced at $100 or above. Recurring guests may also be asked for a deposit on full sets or any service over $100. The deposit is non-refundable, and will be applied towards your service. If you No Show or Late Cancel, your deposit will be forfeited. If I am unable to provide your service due to non-compliance of my appointment policies, it will also result in a forfeiture of your deposit.

Late Arrivals

Arriving late will cut into your session time and may result in additional charges if your appointment has to be cancelled. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your appointment time, your appointment will be canceled and you will be charged 100% of the service fee, per my late cancellation policy (see below). Out of respect for other guests, I cannot cut into another guest’s appointment time to make up for your lost appointment minutes if you are late.

Cell Phones

Cell Phones should be turned onto silent mode and put away in order to minimize distractions and potential hazards—this is especially crucial for eye and brow services, which involves the use of tweezers and adhesives around the delicate eye area, and therefore requires a great deal of focus and precision on my part. Please be courteous and respectful of my time and work by keeping your phone on silent until you have left the session room. I reserve the right to refuse service if you use your cell phone.

OTHER ARTISTS' WORK

If you currently have eyelash extensions on from another lash artist, there may be the possibility that your current extensions will need to be removed and put back on properly. Due to the unregulated nature of eyelash extension trainings, certifications and state board regulations, there are a lot of lash artists that have been improperly trained and at Gingery Esthetic, our priority is your natural lash health and eye safety. Thus, if you are coming in for a touch up from another lash artist, then you agree that your current extensions may need to be removed and a new full set will be applied at the appropriate full set price. This will be discussed and fully explained to you prior to any service being performed.

AFTER HOURS APPOINTMENTS

Certain circumstances and seasons may leave you in a panic to squeeze in a last minute lash appointment that is outside of our normal business hours. After hours appointments may be available on a case by case basis for an additional $40 fee. Please contact us directly to schedule your after hours appointment.

REFUND POLICY

You are paying for artist time, product and other expenses used to provide you with a service. No refunds will be given for any reason on services or products. If you are unhappy with a service, you may contact us within 72 hours of your appointment to discuss your concerns and if a fix can be done to address your concerns, it will be done so with a complimentary 30 minute express touch up if it is at the fault of application or product. Any concerns addressed after 72 hours of your last appointment, or if you failed to follow the proper aftercare instructions, will be charged at full price for the service.

Cancellation Policy

Please notify me at least 48 hours in advance in order to avoid additional charges. This allows me enough time to offer that time slot to another guest. Same day & missed appointments (including NO SHOWS) will be charged in full to the credit card with which they were held; appointments canceled or changed within the 48-hour window are considered LATE CANCELLATIONS, and you will be charged 50% of the service. If I am unable to provide your service due to non-compliance of my appointment policies, it will count as a late cancellation and you will be charged accordingly. A credit card number is required to hold all reservations.

SICKNESS OR FAMILY EMERGENCY

If you, or another person in your household, has an infectious or contagious illness, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment for a later date. For your safety and that of staff and other clients, please do not come to your appointments sick. If it is assumed you are currently sick, your appointment may be cut short or cancelled and rescheduled for when you are healthy again. A one-time allowance of last minute cancellation or reschedule will be permitted for sickness or family emergency. After that, the cancellation and no show policy is in effect.
